NOTE: This is an old version of K Werner Design Blog. I left these pages up for old links. To see the most current stuff, please click here and update your bookmarks. Thanks! Kristina Category: Stuff to buy kwernerdesign cards on Etsy!![]() Have ya'll been introduced to Etsy? It's a store to sell handmade and handcrafted items. After working some kinks out, I'm going to start selling my cards on Etsy! :) For now, it's a small and meager beginning with just some 3x3 Valentine's Day cards (sold in sets of 5--I have 10 sets for sale now), but the plan is to eventually sell the cards I make each week for my videos. So watch for that coming up soon. :) So, hop on over to Etsy and check out my shop! (EDIT: Whoa! All 10 sets just sold. So, no for sale items on my shop page. But you can see the sold items here). BTW, leave me a comment with your favorite Etsy shops. I want to check out what you guys are loving, too!
Searching for rulers? I've had a lot of questions about the blue t-square ruler I use in my videos. I actually bought it at a local office supply store, but it seems that many of you are having trouble finding something similar. So, here's what I found to help you out... Over at DickBlick.com (an awesome art supply store), they have the exact ruler that I bought years YEARS ago when I first started studying calligraphy. I loved this ruler SO much and panicked when it broke in my scrapbook bag about a year ago. That's when went out to find a replacement and ended up with the blue ruler I have now. However, I think I might buy this clear one in remembrance of my beloved ruler from yesteryear--and promptly bag the blue ruler (which I don't like nearly as much). Anyway, here are some links to their store for the ruler and some other products you might be interested in (since you're paying shipping anyway, and the ruler only cost $1.96): C-Thru Junior T-Square Ruler Tombow Mono Adhesive or Refills Blick E-Z Grip Knife Super Giant Punches (including a HUGE 2-3/16 circle punch) Kolo Noci Photo Album Anyway, happy shopping!
Art Warehouse Journaling Backgrounds Stamp Set
Thanks, girls! I've received many emails and comments pointing me the right direction where you can buy the polka dot stamp I've been obsessed with for a few months now.
I can't guarantee they will still be available, but at this very moment, you can buy them at the following links: http://www.thecornerstoreforsave.com/meinjoba.htmlThanks again! And happy shopping! BTW, I've had quite a few people asking where the onesie stamp came from. It's from Technique Tuesday (see the set here).
The Great "Cleaning My Craft Room" Sale
Everything has been sold! Thanks, guys!
2008 Calendars (NEW Options!)
After some requests, I've expanded my calendar line. It's so weird to think I have a whole line of calendars, but here we go...
The items sold below are PDF files only. Once you purchase the PDF, you may print out as many copies as you would like. You will need Adobe Reader to see and print the PDFs. Download the free Adobe Reader here. Also note that the CD jewel case sized calendars fit into a slim jewel case. Just turn the case back as far as it can go until it stands up (see the photos below for an example).
2008 Calendars ![]() Some of you might remember the calendars I made last year for my co-workers. Well, you can make them now, too! The cost is $10.95 and you can print/assemble however many you'd like. These make great gifts for just about anyone. :) Just click the "Buy Now" button below. After I receive your PayPal payment, I'll email you the PDF file. There are four pages, as shown below. All you have to do is print them out (I suggest textured cardstock for the actual calendars because it looks nice, and plain cardstock for the band and tag), and then assemble them. Super easy! Be sure to check out the video of how to assemble it as well. Text on band: 2008 calendar made for you because you rock (thanks for all you do) Text on tag: happy holidays UPDATE #1: I've added an additional sheet (making it five total). The fifth sheet is the band, but with simplified text (as was suggested, it only says "2008 calendar"). You can choose whether to use the band above, or the simplified version. UPDATE #2: To order the calendar, please go to this entry. There are more options available now. ![]()
