Questions & Answers (12/2008)

Good morning! I don't have a Color Inspiration Challenge for you guys quite yet (hopefully tonight after I get home from work), but I do have all of my Q&A videos. Enjoy!

If you watch all four in one sitting, bless you. They're long. Just a warning. :)

And there were a lot of questions about my craft space. I'm planning to make a separate video for that, so I didn't address that question in the videos.

Also, because they are long, I'm embedding the normal quality here. For the HD versions, click the links below each video.

PART ONE (Inspiration / Design / Technique):

(Watch in HD)

Questions answered in Part 1:
- What colors of ink/paper do you always keep on hand? Can you have too many?

- Will taking a calligraphy class help with my handwriting?
- What is your favorite type of card to make?
- How do you find the time to do what you love?

-------------------------------

Making Bread with Marisa

My sister Marisa is a domestic genius. Seeing her now you wouldn't believe that she wasn't "into" cooking until a few years ago! Anyway, she was making bread for the week and I wanted to learn how, too. So I recorded the whole thing. :)

Enjoy!

EDIT: Dangit! I just noticed that YouTube cut off the last little bit of the video. Believe me, I had pictures of the finished bread. :(

More questions?

Hi all!

I've loved receiving all your video questions! And I'm going to be posting my question and answer video soon, but there's still time to get your question in! In fact, I'd love to include some text questions as well. So, if you're a bit camera shy, you can still participate.

Just leave your question in the comments of this entry. Thanks!

Bonus Video: Paper Star

We had an impromptu origami lesson this afternoon. Thanks to Christy for her awesome demonstration skills, and to Paula for teaching Christy how to make these super cute origami stars in the middle of a stamp meeting yesterday!

(Such is a day at the Stampin' Up! corporate office. Yes, I love where I work. :)

I've seen these stars in glass bowls and jars. Just tons and tons of these little stars. A glass vase filled with the stars in different patterned papers would make a great center piece on a table! Too cute!

Bonus Video - Baby Cards, Part 1

Is is just me, or does the video "flicker" all throughout it? Weird. YouTube's on crack today. Sorry guys. I'll try to upload it again tonight to get it to look better. In the meantime, try not to have any adverse reactions to the flickering.

Watch in high quality here (click on "watch in high quality" below the video).
