I'm thinking to steal your idea on this card :)
By the way, the link to Jen's page is broken.
don't know about fascinating....but funny as hell and a great card!!!
Hey K-Dud (clackity-clack)
I just wanted to say how much fun you are to have as a roommie, (clackity-clackity-clackity-clack) & I think this is one of the BEST MACM! (clackity-clack-clack-clackity) Mainly because (clackity)...wait...(clack) Can you tell what I'm saying? (clackity-clack-clack) Sometimes it's hard to decipher with all this clicking & clacking (clickity-clack-clickity-clickity-clickity-clack).
sigh...(click) I so need a new keyboard (clickity-clack)

Hi Kristina! (and Jen!)
For what it's worth - I liked the video, I thought it was funny. And I liked seeing that sometimes it takes you a minute to figure out what the perfect final touch is for a card - I do that too although it takes me much longer and lots of different tries, which means making a card takes me a long time! I'm trying to get better though, and your cards are a great source of inspiration. Thanks!!
he, he,he. That was just what I needed on this Monday morning. Thanks for putting it on as it was...
Loved it!! You are too cute! Great card!
I'm just glad you didn't cut off a finger or something on your trimmer...we don't usually hear that sound and I thought with the "hear everything" notation that something bad was going to happen! Neurotic, or what??? Great card in the end!
I really liked this card and the "real time" video. Makes me feel good to know I'm not the only one who sits there and thinks... "this needs something... " :) I know you've told us you do this as well before, but still it's nice to see in action. Love the colors on this card! Have a good week.
Um yeah, a bit long. =) Liked the final detail you added though - great idea to "finish" the card!
This card is so cute!! I love cards with squares on them like this - I've made a few myself but not nearly so nice!
This is a great MACM! I love the real time video. What's better than a roomie to help with your project?! Lots-o-fun!
This was the best MACM yet hehe...we got a little sneak peak into your life! I think this is probably one of my favourite cards that you've made as well.
It was nice to see you make the card in real time. Your conversation with Jen was hilarious. I really like your card too.
I love your videos! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
I would like to pass on a blog award but am not sure how.. you can see it on my blog though!

Great card...and no, it wasn't boring.
That was so much fun to watch! :) and I loved the card it came out really cute.. see in the process my desk would have disappered so you did good! lol
LOL!!!
Thanks for sharing that little insight. It is good to see you go through the same creative process we all do, before your fantastic cards come together.
TFS :)
Beautiful color combination! I might have to borrow this :)
lol.... thanks for the laugh. The card is really cute.
It's a cute card! I didn't mind the length of the video at all. I've said it before, but I like the longer videos. I look forward to them every Monday and Friday.
Cute card! What kind of glue did you use for the strips along the bottom?
great card and video. loved seeing your creative process! And your conversations with Jen were funny. TFS!
I love it. The card turned out fantastic, and I really enjoyed see ing that you are human after all and go through the same process that I do. The hemming and hawing and not being sure if you are done is how I make a card, I always thought that you had your whole plan in place before ever touching the paper cutter!
Thanks for posting this even though you had your doubts! I sat down to watch it after struggling to finish a card which had started out great - or so I though... It was reassuring to see how I'm not alone when digging deep for inspiration. And I really like the uncluttered look of the card even though it has a lot going on.
Hahaha i did sat thrugh this, and i loved it! The sound of the crickets was hsyterical :P Haha. And yeah, i do like the card aswell! :D
Hugs, Daniela/Neliz
Loved it.....raw and uncut!!! Fab-u-lous!!!
Oh my gosh, this card is lovely. So clean and classic!
What a great way to start off a Monday. I always look forward to seeing MACM and this video was so much fun to watch. It's nice to know you too have those "moments" when you just stare at what you've created and wonder "What does this still need?". Enjoyed all the added 'background' noises and coversation. Just wondering what Jen's card looks like?!?!
Well, that video made MY day! Too fun! But the end result is what counts and I love that card.....
The end result is lovely!! It was certainly worth the wait!
I always have issues with my border punches. I'm going to try your method with the next border I make -- thanks!
I loved your video today. It made me a candaitate for Sainthood - I watched it all the way through, all the while thinking that you sometimes don't know what you want to do to finish a card either. I never thought you ever had to think about what you do - you just do it - and quickly - and perfectly.
The added background sound effects were fun, too!
Wouldn't miss you MACM fro anything. It starts my week off great! Thanks for sharing it all with us.
Sometimes we just have one of those days... :) My real time video would be full of my 1 yo daughter saying "Up!" to sit on my lap to help, one of my cats jumping up and promptly flopping down on top of my work, all the while the melodious tunes of the "Backyardigans" playing in the background...seriously, my craft space needs a door!
The final choice on the strips worked out great, kept things really simple. It turned out great and I loved the non-tradional colors for a Valentine's Day/Romance card!
Hey girls, Loved the video. This is what it is all about, right! Having fun. Actually you must be getting ready for your trip to Disney World. That is why you are so happy. Seriously, I really liked the card. Watching a genius is OK, but watching a human with genus idea's is much better! Have a great day and thanks for the card!
The video made me laugh....thank you for the entertainment!
OHMIGOSH! This was hilarious. Thanks so much for the laugh this morning!!
I really enjoyed the video (loved the crickets lol!) It was fun, and the card turned out really cute!
I was giggling through this video. Cute card and an enjoyable video. Don't change a thing!
probably my favorite card ever. and i loved the candidness. wonderful.
I was laughing out loud at the banter between you and Jen. Great card! Thanks for sharing it ALL! :)
I have to say...this is one of my FAV videos you've made...and for a few reasons.
1. I LOVE the cricket sound effects ..so funny bc it caught me of guard I laughed SO hard :)
2. It's great to see that even a card genius like yourself has struggles to complete a card....it makes me feel better :)
3. I LOVE the finished product...I'm drawn to geometric shapes.
4. that's enough of my reasons...I just love your stuff
Have a FABULOUS day !!
Sandi
PPPersonally, I really enjoy watching you think up your card creations. It just gives the videos more personality and it's fun. Thanks for the inspiration!
Ha ha ha, too funny!
I like Jen's comment, too. I think she should get a new Apple keyboard -- it's almost silent. Unless you are typing really hard...!
That was hilarious. I loved it. You should totally do more like that. Not boring at all~~~I had alot of fun watching it and as far as I am concerned no MACM video can ever be too long.
I didn't get a chance to watch the video but I love the card!
Cute card as always! My favorite part of the video was the crickets chirping. Hysterical! Love Miss Clackity Clack too!
LUV IT! Kristina this Monday video is so great. I enjoyed the REAL-LIFE MACM! I like how you showed the last touch which brought it ALL together. Super creation. You ARE a part of our life so what better way to share us your creations. Thanks for taking the best part of your day to share with us.
:) You make us smile :)
Great card, love hearing your thought process, and of course Jen and the Crickets....hey a name for a band perhaps? Thanks for the inspiration once again, have a great week! Sue
thanks for keepin' it real. love your artwork! lovin' the phat phriends series too. blessings, lela aka serenity
Oh my word! The crickets cracked me up so bad! I was seriously laughing out loud. I'm actually still watching the video - while I'm typing this comment. ~smooches~
I have to agree with Jen best MACM everrrrrr! oh yeah the card was special to (winking)
Oh my word! What a great way to end my school day! When you said we would be appalled by the way your desk looks, in my mind I was shouting "show it! show it! show it!" I love to see other people's craft spaces - no matter how dirty they are ;) Thanks again for the great card!
I love your MACMs and this one is probably my favourite! I love the card, but it had me smiling the whole way through. When I heard the crickets I nearly spat my water out, thanks ;)
i found a video of a card you made not that long ago and i cant stop liking your style. its simple yet sweet and really "home made" just love it! and this card just just prefect! you girls are funny, just shows that your good friends. please keep doing what you do best!
Funny video...I stayed and watched the entire thing!
I did have a question for you...what paper cutter/trimmer do you use? It sounds quite industrial (and you always have such sharp edges.) I'm looking to get a better one.
Thanks for the great MACM!
Kelly
So much fun...love to see that even you get stumped! Makes me feel much more of a normal cardmaker. Beautiful card!
LOVED the card and LOVED the cricket chirping in the middle...such a cute sound effect!!!
That was fun - a brief reminder that people who have blogs & make gorgeous cards are just like the rest of us!?! I know it probably seemed like a long time when you watched it back, but most of us wish we could make a card that cute in 17 minutes! Thanks for sharing.
That was great! and so funny!
Cute card-although if I'd made it I probably would have thrown it in my 'don't know what, but it needs something' pile. Glad to see you have the same issues as the rest of us mere mortal card makers! Great end result though. Loved the uncut video-no way, not too long... isn't it amazing how those crickets show up at just the right time! LOL!! Thanks for some more wonderful inspiration x
Honestly, it is so nice to see that someone as talented as you have days like me once in a while!! I had a great laugh and, no matter what, you always manage to teach me something!! And, I bet you actually get even more comments on this post than most....cause we all love it!!
Hi,
What are the issues you're having with your Stamping Up scallop punch? I've heard some people don't think it's very good for some reason?
Thanks, Kristina. Watch all your videos.
Debra
Hi. Really fun video. And no, I didn't find it boring. It was great to see your design process.
http://cathscustomcreations.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/i-got-a-blog-award-wow/ check out this link...Ive tagged you to get the award I won today!!!
Hey I loved the video. I can't wait to try one of these cute cute cards. Thanks for being so personal all the time. Jen is hoot.
Hey Kristina!!!
I LOVED your video. It did indeed give me a giggle. And Im glad to see that I'm not the only one who can sit and stare at a finished card whilst twiddling my thumbs wondering what on earth it needs to finish it off!!! hahaha. Great job and a WONDERFUL card.
Sarah
xx
This was the best MACM EVAH! I loved it!
I feel like I'm watching the Kwerner Reality Show and it's great! :-)))
As for me, I find hard to fill in with words while I'm making a card video, because I end up saying exactly what I'm doing ( "Now I am applying glue...") and the images are more than enough. But I love your tips! These really help.
Oh! yeah! This was different alright. But in a cool way! Was it boring??? Naaaa!
Creative card Kristina.
Hugs!
Yaneri
Seriously funny! I'm not saying you should do the full-length version every week, but it's funny every now and then! And nice to see that you really do struggle with cards sometimes ;)
Totally cute! I thought you were popping popcorn in the background at first.... crack up. You guys are too cute!!
That was like "30 Minute cards"... except shorter... and you certainly don't talk as much as Rachel Ray. I think the scariest part of the whole video was the sound of the guillotine in the back... I mean you paper cutter. : )
Thanks for sharing! I love the strips you added at the end! and the tie around the box is super cute too.
That was great!!! Still a great , fast card at 17 minutes! My kind of card........... :-)
I know you really struggled with this card, but I think it turned out really cute!
Hi Kristina
MACM is the highlight of my week - does that make me a big sad. What I like about your blog is that when I come over and have a look at it you have always done something lovely and there is always something to read or look at. I loved this particular make a card Monday - whilst we all kind of know the real you it was great to get an even bigger insight into who you really are. You sound like you have a lot of fun with your room mate Jen.
Thanks for sharing so much with us Kristina
Karen x
Really, one of the best yet, I love banter, at least you were bantering with someone, you are not totally weird!!
I love the card. It is such a change to see a 'Love' card without the usual reds and pinks!!! :-) Will catch up on the tutorial video later... couldn't resist commenting on the card.
Love,
Smita.
I loved your video Kristina :) And I thought the card was so cute I cased it for a valentines card, just changing the colours and made the squares into hearts. Here is the link http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1191686?cat=500&ppuser=92941
Thanks for providing such great inspiration!
Another great, if not somewhat entertaining, card. Thanks!
Great card! It was good to see you "stew" over the design for once... makes me feel better since it takes me 10 times as long EVERY time I make a new design.
Love it! make me smile and the card is great!
great card as usual and funny video
Hugs
Norine
Very cute card, love using a few different patterned papers for the card, great idea!
Hello,
I have the strangest question :-)
I am not always using my big cutting mat (if I need to just do something and not like work on a card or something...) and then I feel that it would be nice to have a small Self-Healing Cutting Mat...but how small that is the question :-)). I have noticed in on of your videos (I think :-)) that you used a small cutting mat. Can you please tell me it's measures ? and if it convenient.
Thanks
I liked this video. I cracked up at the on-screen comments, and the crickets were hilarious. I also liked that this was more "real time" and that it showed that you struggle with making cards, too. I mean, it helps to know that even the pros get a little creative block, and that you can come through it -- for me it might take more than 5 minutes! :-) Love your videos...thank you so much for the service you provide to the crafting community, whether it's MACM, Finally Friday, the color challenges.... I come to your blog to find blogs of people who've submitted for the color challenges to get inspiration for myself. (Whew...that was long...hope it made sense.)
Totally adorable card! Sorry, but Jen was right - the video was *perfect* just the way it is, lol! Thanks, too, for the suggestion to run the teeny tiny strip through the glue...absolute genious!
Thanks for making me smile with your video this week. It is good to know that there are times when even you look at something and say - hmm.. missing something. I do that all the time and just thought I was lousy at making cards! of course, I'm not always successful at figuring out what to add and your cards are always fantastic and so very inspirational.
Thanks for sharing your talent and letting us see your non-superhero-card-making side! :-)
Too funny - blogging in real life! Loved the crickets chirping in the background! The card turned out great! (not that I was worried)
I loved the non-formality of the video! And yes, I watched the entire time! Great card! Amazing how you added the glue - I would never have thought to do it that way. I know, pretty lame. Anyway, thanks!
Dorothy A.
Loved the video! Watched the whole thing (always do!)
I watched all the way through ... it was great. You were jess keepin' it real!
You should do it more often, lol!
haha! love the cricket noises!
I absolutely love this card!!! Actually when I saw it for the very 1st time I said "AW that is so cute!!!" Seriously!!! I love all you do with your card making. I loved this MACM!! Keep it up!!!!
Hey Jen!
Hey Kristina!
Thanks for posting the video "raw" - I got a smile from it.
I thought the video was great...funny and entertaining. The cricket chirping was the best!!!
Even when when things go screwy...you are still totally awesome!!!!
yeah...me, too. every time i heard the paper cutter, i cringed. that blade sounds lethal!! somehow, using that thing just off camera added a large suspense thriller aspect to this MACM.
oh, and the crickets were hilarious!
:) you crack me up! I need a stampin' roomie!
~Kendra
i love the cards that you make... you are so blessed to have such talent! keep making wonderful cards 'cuz i love them!
Love the card!!!
And your video.....hilarioush....had a lot of fun watching it!! :):):)
Jacqueline
Hilarious! Thanks for allowing us to be a fly on the wall! I think your card turned out lovely!
K:
1. Crickets too funny
2. Thought it was hailing at your place
3. Tell Jen deduct cost of new keyboard on taxes and buy one
4. Please, stream of consciousness - why string instead of ribbon? What ideas did you consider in the five (edited) minutes and discard and why? Why did adding color work? Why add 2 strips? Why narrow? Inquiring minds want to know!
Thanks so much for all your hard work - I'm very grateful for your videos and talent!
Cute card & loved the commentary! I laughed out loud. Plus, a little envious...it's always more fun to stamp w/a buddy! You two sound like you have so much fun! TFS!
This was a great video. I agree with most everyone that its great to see your genius at work. We know how real you are. We all struggle for ideas and knowing you do also makes us feel ok. I love the card and the video.
I love this card. I love the colours and I love the squares. Really awesome.
