MACM - Merry Christmas + Giveaway #1
I'm planning five giveaways this week, so stay tuned. I'll have details at the end of this entry. :)
This week's Make a Card Monday came about because I wanted to use the Bitsy Flower stamp set from Basic Grey. So cute! I love their Urban Prairie line of papers right now that coordinate with this set, so when I saw the whole stamp set--I couldn't help myself!
The swirls are sort of formal looking, but also very playful. I thought that would be perfect for a Christmas card. I also broke out that Colorbox ink that I used in last week's Finally Friday video--the gold ink. Seriously, people. This ink is awesome. They also have a silver ink! I'll have to work that one into a card sometime soon. :)
Oh, and my tip about the embossing powder in today's video? Here's more details... I have a box of fabric softener dryer sheets that I keep with my craft supplies. If I remember to, I'll always gently wipe across the card stock before I stamp in VersaMark. Then when I apply the embossing powder, it doesn't stick as much to non-stamped areas. Just a tip. :)
And onto the video! As usual, you can view it in higher quality over at YouTube (just click on "watch in high quality" below the video).
Supplies - Old Olive, Real Red, and Very Vanilla card stock, Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon, embossing powder (Stampin' Up!); Christmas Colorbox Queue ink and Merry Christmas stamp (Hero Arts); Bitsy Flower stamp set (Basic Grey).
----------------
Okay! Giveaway details... I'm doing giveaways as a thank you for all your support with the Virtual Card Club. I had a great response and I can't wait to get going on next month's projects. :)
So, each day this week (Monday-Friday), I'll be giving away a few things. Just leave a comment (be sure to leave an email address you can be contacted at--it won't be published here, I just need it to contact you), and you'll be entered in the drawing. Please only one comment per person. :) And yes, international crafters are welcome to enter, too! :)
Today's giveaway is...
A pack of Bazzill Dotted Swiss paper (Plum Pudding Trio) and Sassafrass Lass In a Stitch buttons (Green). I love this stuff! BTW, in the picture below, the dotted paper is enlarged quite a bit. The dots are actually quite small. :)

So, leave a comment before 11:59 pm (Mountain Time) tonight and I'll post the winner's name tomorrow. :) Good luck!
NOTE: Comments are displaying weird in some internet browsers past comment #181... If you're browser is displaying things weird, it's just the browser... I am still receiving comments and can see them. No worries. :) Thanks!

Thanks for all your videos.
I don't have a blog, but use to post all my cards through splitcoast. I miss doing your challenges and have been out of the action lately. It doesn't help that I am 6 months prego (with #2, a boy this time) and it has been a very tough one for me. I don't deal with pain very well. Anyways, I have been a BIG fan for years now and am amazed as to how far you have come. Keep up the great work and all the beautiful and fun ideas for everyone.
Hey Kristina,

Have you ever thought about auctioning you cards from MACM and FF? I think it might generate a great line of income as well :)

Hi! I've been a subscriber of your Make A Card Monday on YouTube for a while now and recently subscribed to your blog as well and I'm constantly drooling over all the wonderful cards you make and all the stamps and materials you have to work with! I live in Estonia (it's an actual country in Europe :) and I cannot buy any of those things from the stores here! If I'm lucky, I'll find a seasonal bad quality Christmas tree stamp or some random flowers. Recently I found a wonderful set of patterned craft paper and I was so happy because paper with a pattern is so rare to come by :P! I don't think anyone has ever heard of embossing powder here but I would so love to get some! Yeah, so I'm forced to make my Christmas cards this year with whatever I can get from the local stores. Oh well, maybe next year I should save up and order some stuff online, providing they agree to ship it over to Estonia ;)
Thanks for another wonderful video and card! I love it and will make it today!!
Super cute card!
Well, you are my favourite cardmaker, so i kinda knew you would make a cte one. You always do :D
Hugs, Daniela.
PS: Thanks to you i started to use embossing on my cards!
Thanks for all he great giveaway and the MACM, and for Finally Friday, and great creativity, honesty and sharing great tips with allllllll of us!
THANK YOU!!!
I am so glad I can participate on this wonderful giveaway even if I am abroad! (whew!)
Great card, as always!!! Thanks so much for your weekly inspiration!
I had never heard the dryer sheet tip before. I can't wait to try that one. I love your blog and the virtual card club. I can't wait to make my calendar.
Love you site! I've been looking in my local stores for the colorbox inks. I may have to breakdown and order them online on the cyber-Monday.
I've always enjoyed your videos. Thanks for the chance to get some great blog candy!
I have gotten so many lightbulb moments from poppin here! Recently the watercoloring-have had the crayons for a year and was frustrated cause I couldn't figure it out and they were a pain but NOW....I am in watercolor heaven!!!!!
Fabulous card...so definitely Kristina! Now I have to take a second look at that stamp set!
I love that color combination. Thanks so much for the ideas and the giveaway.
It's always nice to get up on Monday and watch your video. Thanks for the great cards and the inspiration.
