Color Inspiration #34

This week's Color Inspiration comes from a photo I took while I was in New York last spring. All these colorful bits of yarn were in the window of Purl Soho. I don't know how they fit all that color in one little itty bitty shop! If any of you have the chance to visit this awesome knitting shop, you'll know what I mean. :)
Anyhow, enjoy the colors. And as usual, feel free to add a neutral color (like white or vanilla). Have fun!

Beautiful hanks of yarn as inspiration.....the knitter in me will not let me miss out on this color challenge. Unfortunatley, I won't be able to post my card on my blog......camera and computer are not getting along at the moment. But I just *LOVE* that inspiration. (Off to knit....errr....stamp!!)
Oh, wow, I'm really looking forward to doing this one! That yarn is so beautiful, it makes me want to pick up knitting!

This are awesome colors!!
Kristina,
I read you every day, and I have never seen you mention knitting before. I visit purlsoho's blog every day too. In case you didn't know they had a blog: purlbee.com.
Lots of cool stuff on blog.
I liked this color combination a lot better. The soft colors actually remind me of spring. I wish it was spring here. We had 18" of snow last night and today!!!
Gorgeous colours! You inspired me to start my latest knitting project too. Thanks!!

I love these colors! This is the first time I have participated in a color challenge. My picture came out mediocre because normally I like to get good, natural light but it is pouring, cloudy and kind of dark today. Thanks Kristina for all the great inspiration!
Really enjoyed myself with this one!
Thanks for another great challenge :)
It's fun!
Really love the colours this week as they are in my comfort zone.
Another beautiful choice of colours. I love playing your challenges and my son loves to see what the new selection is too, it's great to share with him! Many Thanx
I was thinking I couldn't make it before the deadline but I did... How great, now I will check everyone's creation, thank you Kristina! Thanks for everything!!!!
Beautiful colours this week Kristina. Thanks for your wonderful inspiration. :)
Great colors-- and I LOVE going to little yarns shops-- they are THE best!
Great colors, I did not have all the colors but I did the best I could with my stash!!
Thanks for the colors! Pretty but tough. I about gave up for this week :) Have a great one!
Great challenge, I have used Bazzill basics as I don't have the Stampin' up colours. Hope it's ok, loving your blog x
These are NOT my kind of colors. I actually had some paper from my SU starter Kit...from FIVE years ago that I used in this challenge. Thanks again for a great one! So inspired by everyone! Hope all have a great day and creative week. Diana
Wonderful yarns in the picture! Just in the second, I saw it, I'd wanted to knit something. My christmascards arn't ready yet, so I have to make them first, we have to send them next monday. This challenge card is one of those, I send to my grandchildren. Thank You for the inspiration!
Hi there starofmay :)
I was one of your subscribers (until YouTube mistakenly disabled my account) and I just found out about your blog. I love it, and I decided to join your color challenge!
Great color challenge! And it was a challege...who knew I only had one piece of sage shadow cardstock in my entire collection! LOL! This was great fun!
This was a challenge for me...don't normally use sage shadow and bordering blue and rarely 5 colors! Thanks for stretching me.
I thought I missed the deadline, but decided to play anyway . . . then a kind person told me that I still had time to post my challenge. Thank you, Vera! You were so sweet to point that out to me!!
Anyway, GREAT challenge, AGAIN!! I made a wedding card with these colors. So pretty!! (The colors . . . not necessarily my card!)
Kay
Love the color combo this week, makes me so happy. Thank you for the challenge! Awesome as always!
These are very pretty colors. I had fun with this.
Thanks again.
Sherri
Hi Kristina -- just wanted to leave you a little note to say thanks so much for posting these colors -- they really helped me create a sympathy card for a dear friend. I was having a terrible time trying to create the card until I thought of looking at your challenge. Hugs! :)
Love the colors on this one. I totally envisioned a cutesy card for these colors and somehow came up with something entirely different! Thanks so much for the challenge!
Thanks for another fun morning!
What an absolutely gorgeous combination of colors! I'm sorry I didn't get to this challenge sooner, but I like what I came up with.
Great color combination this week! I added a little grey and white, but the card turned out way cute. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
Brit
Love these colors! I went a little light on the blue, but this was lots of fun! Got me to break out a new set, too.
Love the picture, you have the "eye" for sure! This was a bit of a challenge, only because of the many different colors....it reminded me of a rainbow! I love being stretched creatively by your challenges. Thanks so much Kristina!
Love your blog! Wanted to do more stamping so I thought your color inspiration would be a good place to start.
I finally got to play along this week. Thanks for the challenge!
The best yarn store ever! I love yarn almost as much as I love stamps. I had to do this challenge when I saw this Colorway. Thanks Kristina!
These were rough colors for me! Thanks for the challenge!
I was speedy fast getting in under the deadline then I noticed the extension. :) That was a load off my shoulders!!!!
Woo-hoo! I got in late - thanks for the grace period! I had to physically restrain myself from using SU! sneak peek things (since we can't post them :( ), so I grabbed another set that had never seen ink before. Don't know if what I was going for came through, but it is an entry at least!
I only post for Color CHallenges, so I didn't realize I messed up with Mr. Linky!! I got deleted, Boo Hoo! This was my favorite one ever though! That wont happen again. Great cards everyone. Until next week....
Those colours are so beautifull !
Here's what I did :
