Color Inspiration #30

Good morning, all! It's time for another Color Inspiration Challenge. :)
This weeks challenge comes from Bed, Bath & Beyond. This duvet cover caught my eye and I absolutely loved the soothing colors--especially since we've had some intense color challenges as of late. :)
Anyhow, enjoy! And just so you know, I had to delete about 10 links last week because they were not posted correctly. ONLY post links directly to your individual blog entry. NOT to your blog. For example, I would post for this entry "http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/1108/color_inspiration_30.html." Notice how long it is? I would NOT post "http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog." Those of you with Wordpress tend to have shorter entry URLs as well, but for the majority of you out there, you will have a LONG individual entry address.
I will continue to delete links that are not correct. Even if you keep posting them over and over again. It's just easier for my readers to not have to scroll through all your blog entries to find the correct one. Please be considerate of others and follow the rules.
Thank you. I'll now step off my soapbox. :)

Join us: Make a card/scrapbook page/whatever in the colors above. Color Inspiration virgins, please read the Color Inspiration FAQ first. Deadline: Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 pm MT. You will know when the deadline has past because you will not able to submit a new link through the Mister Linky box. Grab this week's swatch-only image. |
Reader submissions for Color Inspiration #30:
Links are disabled. Join us next week! :)
Has your link been deleted? There's probably a reason why. Check the FAQ.

Wonderful color combination this week, Kristina! I am looking forward to seeing everybody's projects!
Thank you for an amazing blog!!!
I love your work!
beautiful colours, I hope I get a chance to play. What I find most interesting about your choice of inspiration is there are buttons on that page that are last weeks inspiration colours!
Cool colors but I really wanted to say THANK YOU for changing the rules regarding the link to the cards. While I have yet to participate by making a card, I ALWAYS go look at everybody's cards when you post the roundup and this makes it so much easier!!!
So glad I was off today and could participate in your color inspiration challenge! Rather BLAH colors, but I like how my card turned out. I think the white brightened it up! Can't wait to see all the entries. Love your blog and was so glad to get my pic with you at convention 08.
Such great colors this week!

My background on my page is green and it messes with the visuals on my scrapbook page a bit...the greens don't really mesh well....anyway, enjoy!
Kristina ~

I had a really hard time with this combo for some reason. I guess I'm just not a "green" person. Thanks for the challenge!

Thanks so much for the fun challenges! I know you are super busy, but I love them...even when I don't have time to participate I love seeing what others come up with. :)
My friend alerted me about this new challenge and despite my initial thoughts that the colours were bland, I was rather pleased with how my card turned out. I had my ideas formulated before I saw the inspiration piece. Now I off to see what the others have submitted.
I loved these colours so calming

Thanks

One of the cool things about playing along is that after I post my results, I take a few minutes to look at all the other great entries, and in the meantime find some really cool blogs! How much fun can it be! :)
I had to check out the time for Utah (using Google) to see if I was within the time frame given, it is late here - 11:41pm to be exact and so I had better hit the sack! I will have to check out the other entries tomorrow night or the next as much as I would love to now! Thanks for inspiring us yet again!
Running to craft room to get moving on the color challenge! :)
Great Colors! Loved the inspiration!
Thanks for the great color combo this week. I had a lot of fun!

Love your challenges, Kristina! This one was a nice, calming, cahnge of pace from the bright bold colors we've been working with lately. Thanks so much for another great challenge.
Kristina,
Would you delete my entry at #59...I retook the picture of my card and it looks much better now!
Thanks! Sarah
Kristina,
Hmmm...looks like I need to ask you to delete my #60 too. This link at #61 should be a good one. I promise to be a better player next week! I feel old with all the new technology stuff I'm learning! :)
I've just finished looking at all the submissions so far and I just have to say that, Kristina, you have a very difficult job ahead of you! There are so many wonderful submissions this time. I don't think I would be able to pick just 15. Great job everyone!
I'm going to try this one out today! I really love how you are doing the mr linky. It's really nice to be able to just click through the list for a bit of inspiration!

I actually challenged myself three times:
1. I made a scrapbookpage with the given colors;
2. I made a 6x6 page which I had never done before;
3. I made a page within 3 hours - I usually take a week to do a page!! =s
Thanks for all of that! :)

Another fantastic challenge - and this time it was even more so a challenge as I had to make do with the pieces of cardstock I could find that most closely matched the SU colours.
