Chipboard Chandelier/Mobiles

Okay, talk about stinkin' cute! Have you guys seen these yet? It was featured on Apartment Therapy not too long ago and my good friend Patti is the genius behind it.
Anyway, she hooked me up with one of her Sweet Tweet chandeliers to decorate for my sister's baby that's due any day now! (Marisa, if you're reading this... pretend to be surprised when you get it for Christmas, okay?)
I've been working on covering this with patterned paper a little bit at a time all week. I even glued patterned paper to it and sanded it down while I was riding to Arizona in my brother's car on Tuesday! It's actually a really great thing to do while watching a movie, too (we watched Kung Fu Panda--so funny!).
It's made out of heavy-duty chipboard, and you can get it over at her Etsy shop. It's DIY so you can paint it or cover it with paper, or both. I chose to cover it in Sassafrass Lass paper and add some Papertrey Ink ribbon.
Here's to new babies! Babies! :) I'm getting a new niece and I'm so excited!
Ooo! Ooo! Patti's giving away one of her Glittering Tulip chandeliers. Go over to her blog to enter the drawing. :)

Really cute. Love the colors! And thanks for posting your sister's dinner roll recipe. I made it for t-day and it was a hit. Not to hard to make either.
If she is ever to give us her bread recipe, I would be forever grateful!

I LOVE it Kristina! You put some serious effort into it. Covering it all in paper! That takes time.
My favorite is the birds with the striped wings.
