Welcome, Paco!
Brought home a new camera tonight, a new Canon EOS 50D... oh. my. word.
He's beautiful.
I have dubbed him Paco.
After Pachelbel's Canon in D.
Get it?
He's gorgeous.
I love him already.
I'd marry him if I could.
His battery grip, extra battery, and 8GB memory card arrive tomorrow.
Sigh.
All I need is something interesting to take a photo of.

Congrats on your new purchase. I, too, love your BLOG!!!! I wait every Monday and Friday for you MACs love them....How come you can get cards done in 4 minutes and it takes me forever!!!! That is my goal to start stamping faster.
Back to Pacho.....let's see some really great photos soon and tell us how he works...my husband just got me a digital and it is taking me forever to figure it out and it is nothing like Pacho that's for sure!
I also am repeating the prayer from Kristine!! Maybe instead I should just ask for forgiveness!! I love that he is a he and that he has a name -- I'm off to name my camera!

I just bought a super fast 50mm lens for my 40D and can't wait for it to come in the mail! Aren't new toys fun?

Congrats on the 50D :) I've been playing with a 40D for about 6 months now... there are ALWAYS interesting things to take photos of... sometimes it's just a matter of perspective (and perhaps personal interest).

I was hoping to run into you today at SU I was visiting with Angie B. I got to play around in her room.. OH MY WORD! what a cool place that is!!! {heart thump} maybe she will have me back really soon.. Fingers crossed and I can say hi.. I got to hug Linda.. I haven't seen her sence convention. She won't be at Pam's Meeting this week-end either..

Oh... I'm so jealous. I've wanted a good Digital SLR for years and still haven't gotten one. Your photos were always fantastic before getting this, can't wait to see them now!
What made you choose this camera? Just curious, since I haven't done my homework on digital SLR's (yet)?
