Two Peas Stamp Camp '08 - Week 1

copyright Two Peas in a Bucket

Hi all!

Two Peas is having a virtual stamp camp over the next 6 weeks and you're invited! I provided the first class, so check it out! You can see my projects, a video, plus all the supplies, and an instructional PDF over here.

Be sure to check out the message boards, too, to see discussions throughout the week. :)

If you create a project using faux metal and post it to the TwoPeas galllery (just selected it as a challenge entry), you'll be eligible to win some sweet prizes. I know ya'll can do it! I want to see an awesome turnout from my blog buddies. :)

Kristina I LOVE both of these cards!!!! The colors are great and the LO's are perfect! I have a random question for ya though. I've seen a lot of cards lately with the ribbon extending off of the edge. Would you mail them? I wonder if the ribbon would get messed up being folded over and in the case of your card it has an embellishment on the part that extends. Just curious - I'm funny like that - haven't made a card that won't fit in an envelope yet!!! :)

Marie, I would just tuck the ribbon inside the card. Granted it might not look as good when the card is finally delivered, but it good there, right? But true--it's always a good idea to think ahead. If you'll be mailing it in a traditional envelope, it's best not to have those bits hanging off the edge. :)

Great technique! Can you use rubber stamps also or is it best to just use clearstamps?
