Swapping out video audio

Hi kids! I will be removing all my YouTube videos from the web over the next few weeks. I'll be slowly swapping out all the music in the videos with royalty free music.

I know you all have enjoyed the music selections, but unfortunately they are copyrighted. I've always felt slightly guilty for using copyrighted music so I'm trying to make it all good. :)

Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have everything uploaded once again.

Thanks for your patience!

Oh my dear, that's a lot of work. Too bad about the copywrites. You have wonderful taste in music & have opened my eyes to some beautiful songs. I guess I'll just have to follow your lastfm for new & fun music.

Kristina.. that sounds like a lot of work. I had read something not too long ago where someone was asking about those who play music during their youtube videos, if it was copyrighted or not. I didn't read it all, but remembered it. I hope all is well.. we all sure do enjoy your videos.. my kids even watch them.

thanks, Pam

Well good for you. I have always enjoyed your music and hope you still share what you're listening to, but bravo and you probably should have a cookie after all that! :)

Thanks for being such a good example.

Personally, I think it is more like advertising music than using copyrighted music, cuz after I hear it on your MACM, I go over to itunes and buy it myself!! But I understand. Thanks for all your great ideas!

OH, HOW SAD!

1) That sounds like a tremendous amount of work for you.
2) I learned about all kinds of great music from your MACM posts! You are the innovative one who would find the somong from a tv commrecial and tell the nlog world about it. You have introduced us to so many great artists!

You have always listed the title of the song and the artist at the end... doesn't that count?

What a sad day....

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog!

Hey Kristina, that's a bummer about having to change all your music. But it was fun while it lasted. I have to thank you for introducing me to Luce though - they are one of my absolute favourite bands now, but if it hadnt been for your video I would never have found them. Thanks for that!

Well, the fab projects are still the star of the show, but I have to say it's a jarring difference with the not-so-fab music on the ones you've swapped out so far. But I guess that's why it's royalty-free, eh? Never fear, we'll keep watching! :)

Hi Kristina,

That sounds like a lot of work.

I love the music you choose and have purchased several songs from i-Tunes after hearing it on your videos. Maybe they, the artist and their record label people, should be paying you! :) It's GREAT advertising for them.

Hi Kristina,

Shame about the music thing, I really did enjoy it, but you're doing the right thing and you deserve props for that. The flip side of not having the music is we get to listen to you explaining what you're doing on your videos! Yay! It's all good.
