MACM - Simple Flower

101308-macm.jpg Hi all!

I really wanted to make a super simple card using minimal supplies for this week's MACM, and I don't think I could get any simpler! :)

Anyway, I fell in love with these flowers when I saw them over at the TwoPeas store. (They're sold out right now, but they have other colors that are available). What I didn't know about them though, was how big they are! They truly are sized for a 12x12 scrapbook page. Fortunately, they can be taken apart and only a few of the circles used, which is what I did for this card.

I plan to use the large petal circle on a 12x12 layout soon. :)

Anyhow, enjoy the video and as usual, you can view it in high quality by clicking here and then on "watch in high quality" below the video over at YouTube. :)

Music in video - "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas
Supplies - Chocolate Chip card stock (Stampin' Up!); patterned paper (Heidi Grace); flower (Prima); ribbon (Papertrey Ink); button (Fancy Pants).

Very cute! I love how quick and easy that is! I love those flowers, can you convince SU to get something like that in SU colors. :) I would love to use these on scrap book page. So Pretty! Thanks again for a great MACM!

Staci Miserlian:

Very cute card! You always add just the right embellishments!

Idea - you could probably make flowers like that in SU! colors with your circle punches and a distressing tool. Wouldn't be quite as quick as premade, but it could be done!

You definitely have a gift of card making. I could've never even thought of something so simple. :) Thanks for picking my card for the CI challenge. It totally made my Monday!

Danielle :

I really love your MACM ideas. I just started with cardmaking and your cards are just fab.
They are easy to make but look like little jewels.

thanx from Danielle (from the Netherlands)

Carolyn P.:

I love this card. Thank you for demonstrating what a beautiful card can be created when you keep it simple.

My 6 year old and I watch Meet the Robinsons and we both fell in love with this song :)
