Halloween 2008 (Stampin' Up! Style)

Okay, so today was Halloween at work. Seriously, SU! goes all out for Halloween... let's face it, we're creative people so we love to play pretend. :)

There was a costume contest that was just... HILARIOUS! Some departments went all out by decorating their cubicles and some even performed for the rest of us down in the atrium at lunch.

Anyhow, here are some of the photos I snapped today. And don't forget the video at the end of this post... Mwa ha ha! Blackmail material, right?

EDITED TO ADD: Nope, I'm not in any of these pictures. I didn't dress up... I'm lame like that. But it was fun to see everyone else! :)

Oh, Kristina! Where do I start? Thank you so much for sharing this with us all!!! Your photos are (naturally) fabulous. The video is hilarious. I laughed so hard, I cried. How could you keep the camera steady? I could not have done it ... I would have been shaking from laughter. Your co-workers are so creative and funny. If you have to have a day job, SU absolutely wins hands down, for the best place to work. I already thought that, but this is the icing on the cupcake! Just two questions: Why was the celebration a day early and why didn't YOU dress up? Yes, I see your note about being lame and all that. Come on girl! ;-)

Happy Halloween!!!

For the person from the Netherlands wondering about the photography department - they were singing "we represent the lollipop guild" from the movie the Wizard of Oz. They were dressed as Dorothy and a few of the dwarfs.

Thanks for posting those beautiful photos, Kristina! I saw the Thriller dance upstairs and then in the atrium, but I still laugh every time I watch it. Marketing was a tough act to beat! Loved the lollipop guild and the trick or treater kids too and Jaron and his spikey hair (I wonder how many recognized him?) LOL I think you really captured the spirit of how huge Halloween is at SU!

For the person who wondered why it was a day earlier: we have a flexible schedule plan at SU where some people have alternating Fridays off. We had the party a day early to make sure everyone was there.
