Color Inspiration #28

This is a really different color challenge, eh? Sort of odd colors, but I really like them actually. :) This coin purse is from Anthropologie--a store that I love, if only for it's awesome patterns everywhere!
Anyhow, let's jump into the technical details here...
I've added Mister Linky to my site specifically for these color challenges. Mister Linky is software specifically designed for sharing links. See an example of it in use here. Hopefully, this will make it easier to share links to our creations. :)
I'm re-instituting the round-up (it had a very short and minute death... it's since been revived). Only challenge submissions provided through Mister Linky will be eligible for the Round-Up, so be sure to try it out. :)
More details are below as usual, with the Mister Linky stuff added in. So let's try this out! I'll close the link list on Thursday, October 30 at 7 pm MT.

Thanks for another great colour inspiration. I too love using Pumpkin Pie and fell in love with it when I made a card using the Stampin' Colour Wheel combination and the Wild About You stamp set (you can find this on my blog if you are interested).
Anyway here is the link again to the current Colour Inspiration #28 http://maecollins.blogspot.com/2008/10/kristina-werner-colour-inspiration-28.html, but I did also put it in the Mr Linky one as well - just being sure.
Kristina, I love participating in these from the other side of the world - but it seems to bring so many people together with common interests.

Love that Mister Linky! But the challenge colors were really tough this time, Kristina! Thanks for a great challenge.
This was my first try and did I pick a tough one... I love the colors but, struggled to find a way to blend them well. I enjoyed this and will be back for another challenge - thanks Kristina!
Wow I really like this color challenge and the cards I have seen using it are awesome!!
Great colors! It took me awhile to figure this one out and I *think* I cheated a bit by using Chocolate Chip but the colors really spoke autumn to me - and what better color for fall than chocolate chip???
Thanks for the inspiration!
These colors are a little odd for me to use, but I came up with a card that I really like! Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow, Kristina! I love this color combination...would have probably never tried it on my own:) When I saw the photo of the clutch, it reminded me so much of the Embrace Life stamp set, so here's my card:
http://stampinwithstacey.blogspot.com/2008/10/embrace-life-kwerner-color-inspiration.html
Sorry. I noticed that my link failed. Here is the simple link: www.butterbeanz.typepad.com
Oh poo.. It looks like I missed the deadline too.
http://jadedskitchen.blogspot.com/2008/10/kwerners-color-inspiration-28.html
This was my first attempt and as I was going to try to upload my link, I realized that I ended up missing the deadline and not having the exact colors. LOL. At least I did try to make something though. :) It will be fun to try this out on occasion. I need to keep some creative activities going on throughout the week. Love your site. Thanks for all of your creative inspiration.
Rats, when I first read the deadline it said Friday. :-( Guess I should have posted my card yesterday.
http://justaninkling.blogspot.com/2008/10/true-friend.html
Thanks for bringing the round-up back Kristina!
I missed the deadline! I thought it was friday, too. What a pitty! Here is my card:
http://annikarten.blogspot.com/2008/10/kwerner-color-inspiration-28.html
I really like the colors and I was beginning to coordinate a card, but I was just not moving fast enough. I think I love Mister Linky. Thanks for sharing that info.
So I missed the deadline because I am not of that time zone. Bummer! But here is a link to my creation anyways for those that want to look.
