In Minnesota :)

adam-andrew-sm.jpg

Landed in Minnesota early this afternoon. :)
Bought a caramel apple at Rocky Mountain.
Bought new lotion from The Body Shop.
(all in the airport while I waited for Marisa).

Stopped at Wendy's for lunch.
(kid's meal for me, chicken for the boys).
Adam kept looking at me funny in the car--
like he can't quite remember me.
But suddenly remembers me when
we get to their house.

:)

The boys are fascinated with my Wacom tablet.
Had to draw them immediately. :)

My DH bought me a tablet quite a while ago, but I just can't get comfortable with it. He tried so hard to get just 'the right gift', any helpful hints on using one?

ANSWERING QUESTIONS:

Kadee - I used both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Carol Sisk and Jen - I have an old school Intuous 2. I don't believe they sell it anymore.

Amy - When I first got my tablet, I hid the mouse for a month and forced myself to use only the tablet. By the end of the month, it was super easy. :)

Sarah Jane (Hutchinson, MN):

So sorry that we can't offer you better weather here in MN....

I had playground duty for 2.25 hours at the elementary school and forecast was sunny and 72. HA! How about cold wind and mostly cloudy with short bursts of precipitation?

Hoping your cheery disposition will improve the weather for us here in the Midwest. Enjoy your visit!

Jan:

Welcome to Minnesota! What classes are you taking a Scrapfest? By the time I went on-line to sign up the classes I wanted to take for full, I'll try again next year. If you want to do some shopping while in MN you might want to check out Scrapbooks Too on France Ave, not too far from MOA. They have some yummy creative stuff in there too! If your sister lives in the area she may know of it. Anyway enjoy your stay in MN.
