So Grateful for You

071708-card2.jpg

Hi all!
Just a quick card tonight. :)
Watching Batman Begins in preparation for tomorrow's 12 noon IMAX screening.
Just a refresher course so I remember all the important details.
Haven't seen it since theaters two summers ago.
Man, this movie is intense.
Should be interesting to see the new movie.
Might be a little eerie seeing Mr. Ledger as the Joker.
But I'm still looking forward to it. Heard it's great. :)

So Grateful For You - Amy Butler for K & Company patterned paper (K & Company); Simple Serif Mini Alphabet, Sage Shadow ink, Basic Black marker, Naturals White card stock, Pretties Kit (Stampin' Up!); ribbon (craft supply).

Very Pweety chic! I love the teals & the greens. I pearls just make the card standout! Love it, love it! Did you stamp the word "for" or did you spell that? If you did spell it....Girl, I love the writting! I wish my hand writing was like that! My handwriting sucks!
Hey....Enjoy the movie and the popcorn! While you are watching a movie, I'm at home studying and prepping for my RN state boards....which are coming SOOON! Ahhh!
Ok, Nite-nite....over and out! :o)

It is so nice to see just quick random cards from you. Didn't want you to think that all "we" expect from you are your fantastic video productions.
Have a great weekend!!
Hugs!!

I luv your creation. Especially the pearls. I have been looking for half pearls for two months and can't find any in the craft stores. I want 'em so bad. I like the colors used in this card and when I make one like it I will probably add some some off-white eyelette lace which would make a nice wedding card too!

Christy Palmer:

Love your Card!!

My boyfriend and I went to the midnight showing of the new Batman movie this morning! It was EPIC! Best movie ever! The only thing I have to complain about the experience was that the movie was supposed to start at 12:01am and something happened to the projector and they didn't get the movie started until 12:30. A lot of people in tights were getting antsy, but it was so worth the wait. I'm tired and hopefully this Red bull I'm guzzling right now will keep me awake till I get home for work! Oh why didn't I take Friday off!!??!!

Do you have a secret on how to get the pearls evenly spaced and in a straight line -- please share!

Terri:

Ohhhh...I think I just figured out how you got the pearls so perfect! Did you use the SU paper piercing template, and are you lucky enough that the SU Pretties pearls are just the right size to drop into the large eyelet holes??? If so, I really need to get the Pretties kit because my K&Co pearls are too big.
