MACM - U & Me

This week's card sets the record for "world's easiest card." :) Seriously, it only took me 13 minutes to do! And that includes trying to figure out what to do there in the middle for a couple minutes (I cut out that part of the video-- otherwise, you'd be sitting there like, "Hello? Isn't she going to do something?").
Anyway, enjoy the card and I'll be back later tonight for the Color Inspiration #16 Round-up!
BTW, did any of you see Batman this weekend? Oh. My. Word. I loved it so much! Definitely a very intense movie. And so good!
We saw it on an IMAX screen and 40 minutes into it, the screen shut off. You should have heard the whole audience... Collective gasp and then tons of grumbling and shouting.
Twenty minutes later, it was playing again, but not without starting up without sound for about 30 seconds. So, I missed about a minute in there in the middle. But even with technical glitches, it was AWESOME!
Also saw Mamma Mia this weekend. So good. I loved it! I've always loved Abba, so it was super fun to see the movie. Although, I could have done without Pierce Brosnan singing... Um, awkward. Just didn't seem right. He looked like he was choking the entire time. I wanting to yell at the screen, "Just take a breath!"
Even with that, I loved it. Such a fun movie. Who wants to go to Greece now? ;)
NOTE: As usual, video is also in high quality.

Nice card, simple and pretty. Saw the Dark Knight too, Heath was unrecognizable and captivating, you just wanted more of him on the screen, don't you think? Anyway, thanks for the card - inspired now for card-day with the girls!
Sweet card! I love your hair in the video too - really nice!
Great color scheme!
Hi Kristina!
Thanks for the inspiration. I just love your blog and am always happy to see a new entry! :)
Just a quick question: What do you do with all the cards you make?
Thanks and keep on creating!
Marie
Hi Kristina!
Really cute card! Love how you can put a few elements together and make a WOW! Thanks as always...hope you have a great week!
Great card! I still can't get my bows as good as yours.
Kristy
Stunning card! I love the colors together. I LOVE that color green!!
I SOOOOOOO want to go to Greece now after seeing Mama Mia yesterday!!!!!! The scenery was stunning, wasn't it? I thought it was a fabulous movie every woman in America should see with her best girlfriends!!! And I second the motion that the movie could have done without Pierce singing!!!!
Hugs,
Amy
Hi / This card and your curly hair are both great!
I love your hair in this video!
LOVED!!!! Batman.. I was a bit distrubed by Heath's role. It was hard to see him do a role like that but he did it great.. I hope he gets an Academy Award for it. I can't wait to see Mama Mia!! Huge Abba fan here as well.
Cute Card.. I love the simple quick and easy ones...
I saw Mamma Mia this weekend too. I've seen it on the stage 4 times so of course had to see the movie. I enjoyed it but agree with you on P. Brosnan's singing...thank goodness it only happened twice. Wasn't Meryl Streep amazing! I've never been a huge fan but wow she did an awesome job! Now I'm just waiting for the DVD to come out so I can own it and sing along lol
Ok off to see your MACM video. Have a great day!
Way cute card, I love the color scheme.
Haven't seen Dark Knight yet, but I will eventually. Mamma Mia was so much fun, I absolutely loved it...and I totally want to go to Greece now.
Pierce Brosnan singing? GAK! Please tell me he kept his shirt on, at least. I love watching your videos, for the cards, yes, but the MUSIC! Love it! Great sassy hair, too!
have not seen both movies but i'll definitely will. Love you card, it might be simple and took you only 12 min but it still rocks...as always. And, yes...loving your do =)
So... I totally loved watching your MACM! It's so much fun seeing another stamper at work. I normally just stamp alone, so I get to thinking that I'm the only one who stamps things slightly crooked. I also loved how you cut along the side of your card for the ribbon. I usually have some horribly elaborate cutting process... Or you could just cut into it. Go figure. Anyways, gorgeous card.
I saw Mamma Mia and totally loved it. I didn't really expect to laugh so much. They did a great job with building in "little" things that I don't think you would "get" on stage. Pierce was weak - I don't think he should quit his day job! LOL! I was kind of bummed he wasn't in more shape than he was - he took off his shirt and it was like "EW!" But, all in all, it was a terrific show!
Love this card! I just got rid of my plexiglass piece like that because I never used it. DRAT!
Your hair is always in a different style and soooo cute. Do you change it every day?
I saw Mama Mia this weekend as well and oh my, I felt the same way about Pierce Brosnan.I was so embarrassed for him it was uncomfortable. Great movie though, so worth sitting through the pain of his singing.
It's always so fabulous, simple and so BEAUTIFUL!!
Thanks so much!!
You are so good. I wish I could take three items and put them together to make a rockin' card like that. Thanks for showing us how....my style is so different than that, so it is good I can copy!
Your hair is so cute, should we look for CURLS at convention!
Very simple and cute! Love it!
Great card as usual. Love watching your tutorials.
Can I ask, what kind of scissors you use for cutting ribbon? Are they the SU paper snips?
Thanks for sharing how to make another great card with all of us.
such a fun easy card...thanks for sharing. like everyone else i love the curly hair and am wondering what color your nails are.
Love this card! So simple yet so cute!!
Thanks for sharing this video. I love the color combo. Well, 4-5 colors is probably too much for me, but I love the black with green and white. Thanks for all the fun we have on your blog.
i loved the card before you put the ribbon on. do you ever make cards with out a ribbon? because it is often too much and make the card so over the top as they are beautiful without the bows.
Hi there! I saw Batman friday, and I absolutly agree: it's AWESOME!!! I got to see it without any technical glitches but not in imax, any way I plan to see it again, how about you? Oh, by the way , great card!!!
Cute card...love the hair!! I've been eyeing that basic gray CS, now I need it. Ok, its hard to spell "basic gray" instead of "Basic Grey", right?
Thanks again for a great MACM. I love watching you stamp cuz I pick up such great little tricks. I've got an embossing QUESTION for you...any tips for preventing the cardstock from warping after you have heated the embossing powder??? It drives me crazy and I can't figure out why mine does it.
Thanks!
What a great MACM! I love your Emeril impression! Stamp a little bit...BAM! Add a little paper...BAM! Put on some ribbon...BAM!
I do know it's never that easy, but you make it look it. Thanks for doing these each week. I'm learning lots!
Love this card. It is simple, but striking.

Terri
