MACM - So Nice to Me

Hi all! Had some video uploading issues this morning. But hopefully the video will work. I always try to have the "thumbnail" be a picture of the card, but today... Not sure what happened. Oh well!
Anyhow, enjoy the card! Super busy since I'm heading off to help out at the SU! Convention, so this entry's gonna be super short! :)
As usual, also available in high quality.

Another wonderful card. I need to start embossing again, it really adds an extra special touch to cards. Thanks for your inspiration!
Cool video! I wish I was going to convention! I am crossing my fingers for next year! Anyway, I love your card as always! I have always loved the clear embossing on card stock. Love the effect! Wonderful Job!
That was one of the best MACM ever! I really like the whole design of that card!
I sure hope I see you at Convention! I'll bring you a card swap & hope to get my pic snapped with you. Glad I was one of your "random 10" for Color Inspiration this week! :)
OMG! This is one of the best cards you have done. I may be biased though-I LOVE purple and embossing. Thanks for another cool way to use the coluzzle.
Have fun at convention, I wish I were going, but alas, I will be living vicariously through blog land.
I've been enjoying your MACM's for a couple months, now, so thought I'd better give a shout out to you that I LOVE THEM ALL! LOL

the only thing better than stamping yourself is watching someone else stamp... atleast when it's set to cool tunes and it goes double time during the putsy parts - thanks for doing MACM - i look forward to watching every monday! if i was in slc i would certainly say hi, but i'll be here in the twin cities with my boys savoring the last weeks of summer... just as good, right?...right?
oh well, thanks again for posting everything you do - i love it all!
Kristina, I really loved this card. It is one of the best cards you have done in a while! I think my favorite part was the simple piece of cardstock you cut with the Coluzzle. Stupid I know, but I never think to use the Coluzzle to cut shapes other than the shape for which they were designed. In my opinion, that added SO MUCH to the card! Great job. Thanks for all the great inspiration. Have fun at the convention this week! Can't wait to hear all about it!
Awesome card as usual! :-) I absolutely love embossing - especially around edges.
GREAT!!! This card is really nice! I like the embossing on it. Thanks for another great inspiration!
Bianca!
Your background stamp is great! Where's the ribbon? I can't remeber the last time you didn't use ribbon on card! :) Great card!
I love how the embossing works on this card. I always forget to use the clear powder on versamark ink. I think I'll go try some right now! Thanks for another fun MACM!

I love this card! So cute, I wish I had all of the stuff to emboss, love that technique.
Such a lovely card Kristina! I'm still drooling over the stunning color combo and gorgeous background stamp. Love, love, love shades of purple together. Thanks for sharing!
i love this card and yay no ribbon!
Love the card! I, too, am a purple fanatic! Thanks for the push regarding clear embossing - it does add lots of interest! What's with the Scotch foam tape? Out of Dimensionals? Does it work better or work better on the clear embossing? Hopefully, I am not the only one who wants to know!
LoVe your MACM videos! This one is beautiful, love clear embossing. Have fun at your convention!
Wow...super cool. Love the embossed backround and divided sentiment. As, always, love hearing your music picks.
so it's not just me who has rediscovered a love of heat embossing? I had to giggle through your video too as quite often a caption would come up just after I had had the same thought ("looks like she needs to get some more embossing powder!", "oooh, I love watching embossing melt"). Have fun at Convention!
Hi there! My name's Laura and i'm portuguese. I found your works in you tube and i became a fan.
I know that you have a lot of comments and it's difficult to you to answer them all. I just want to say hello and congratulate you for your fantastic cards!
Bye :) ***
P.S. Have a nice convention! I know it will be fun! ;)
Love, love, love the card, Kristina. I thought about going to convention this year as it is open to everyone (I'm not a demonstrator, just a Stampers 10 gal). I hope they offer that again next year, then I can plan for it. It would have been great to meet you. Loved Mamma Mia and the only thing worse than Pierce Brosnan singing in it is Pierce Brosnan singing on the soundtrack (I bought it yesterday). I would not have been offended if they had chosen a voice-over for him. I guess that just proves that anyone can be in a musical...sign me up!! Have a fun week!
Hello Kristina! What a stunning card...I love the embossed background! Thanks for the invite at convention to let us have a picture with you...How much fun will that be! I am soooooo hoping I will get the chance to meet you! So, if I see you around I will certainly stop by..! Have fun!!!!!!!

love this card! embossing rocks. I like watching it melt until I burn my fingers ;)
I love to emboss too! Something about watching the powder melt just mesmerizes! Sometimes my cardstock warps when I'm embossing. Why is that and how do I keep it from happening? I assume I am keeping the heat in one spot too long but sometimes that doesn't matter. Could it be cheap cardstock? Thanks for your help. Oh, and I live for MACM! I love watching you make cards as much as I love watching embossing powder melt! :-)
Love it!!
Thanks for the video!
Kisses!!
Another great macm, I love watching them every week! This is a great card, love the colors together. Thanks for taking the time each week to make these videos :)
This might be a simple (and dumb!) question, but you make such wonderful cards and you use such a variety of cardstock colors.
When you actually use a card that has a base that's dark (dark brown, or navy, or black, etc.), do you put another lighter piece of cardstock inside or do you use a white pen to sign the interior of the card?
I'm wondering 'cause I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I'm in this situation; sometimes I put a liner in the card that's a lighter color. I don't always want to use a white marker...
I just wanted to say, I think you are extremey inspirational, and I love watching your video's and listening to some great tunes....
Keep up the GREAT work...
Jackie:)
Simply wonderful, Kristina! I do love your cards...thank you for the inspiration.
