That's exacly the way I tie a bow. Only I have discovered it the hard way, while making hundreds of wedding invitations.

Great Video Kristina! When I tie my bows, I always make the first loop with the opposite side of the bow than I normally would, when say I tie my shoe. In my instance, because I'm right handed, my instinct is to make my first loop with the right strand and then wrap the left around and pull through. Instead, I loop the left, and wrap the right side around.
Works every time!
