MACM - Simple Ink + Stamps

062308-simple1.jpg

062308-simple2.jpg Hi all! Thanks for being patient for today's video. :)

For those with high-speed internet, check out the video in higher quality over at YouTube. Just click here and then below the video click on "Watch in high quality."

Anyway, I used some chalk ink on this card. I LOVE chalk inks! They just look... so soft, or something. Just a cool look. I wish I had even more chalk inks to work with.

I also used a Stamp-a-ma-jig like you wouldn't believe! When I started stamping all those dots, I was all, "Hmm... this might take a while," and then I kept going and wanted to kill myself! That's a lot of dots! And just think--what if I'd tried to stamp the ENTIRE front of the card? Crazy! It was almost as bad as working with all those punched circles in my last entry's card. ;)

I also did a bit of individual color on the Happy Birthday stamp. I wasn't sure if the chalk ink would work in this case, but I was happy to note that it did. :)

Before I forget, I created an iTunes iMix for all the songs I've used in videos (including the Holiday ones). If the songs were bought from iTunes or could be found on iTunes, they're on this list. Plus, you can buy all of them at once, or individually. See it here.

Anyhow, on to the video!

LOL, yes, a lot dots! The polka dot basics set from Papertrey Ink would've been helpful here. =)
Thanks for sharing the i-Tunes mix!

Love the polka dots. i usually have a hard time finding ways to use my Little Pieces set...this is a great way to use them! If you don't mind a product suggestion...although you may know this already...AC makes a disappearing ink pen. I use it to make envelope templates so I don't have pencil or pen marks on them. Thanks again.

Super cute card! I'd probably be too lazy to align my dots with the stamp-a-majig! LOL! Too cool about the music on itunes! Can't wait to check it out!

Hi Kristina! Cute card! And the girls are right.....you totally need Polka Dot Basics from Papertrey so you don't have to stamp all those dots individually next time! LOL! I've used that set a TON! It's great for us 'clean & simple' girls! ;)

Have a goodie!

Kristina,

Love your site and everything you do. How you manage to do it all it amazing to me! I have downloaded a few songs form itunes after hearing them on your site. I didn't see "Gamble Everything For Love" by Ben Lee on your imix. It's one of the ones I really like, along with MIKA.

Hi Kristina,
Lately I have been getting a message saying "Sorry, this video is no longer available". Is anyone else mentioning this happening? If it's just me I have no idea what to do to correct it. Any suggestions?
