Questions & Answers, Part 2 of 3

Note: the audio gets out-of-sync near the end and I couldn't figure out why... After exporting it from iMovie multiple times, I gave up and decided to upload it as is. :)

Questions answered in this video:

How do you organize digital photos?
Do you have any Photoshop tips?
How do you record video from above your workspace?
How do you match the length of the video with the length of the song?
Do you have tips for those who want to work on a design team?
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Tell me about Perfect Layers.
Do you make your own envelopes?
How do you fold scored card stock?
Which do you use most: pigment or dye inks?
Are you going to the Stampin' Up! Convention?
How do you measure ribbon for tying a bow/knot?
How do you add a watermark to photos?
What do you do with paper you don't like anymore?
Do you have a tip for using small $1 stamps?
How do you organize your paper?

These are great tips! Thanks for all of them. I was always wondering how you angled your camera just right! :)

I have made several movies in iMovie too - I just LOVE it. It blows Windows Movie Maker outta the water ;)

Can't wait to look at these. One of my questions is, how do you get the You Tube post on your blog? For some reason I have trouble with that.

Sue

Kristina says: You have to get the HTML code from the video's YouTube page. On the page, there's a spot that says "embed." You need the code that's in that area. Then just copy and paste it into the code for your blog entry. Hope that helps!

I think it's so cool that you took the time to put together this video for us! What a wonderful resource! Thanks a bunch!

We have kids and have had to put a block on our computers, which blocks anything that has to do with YouTube, plus many other things (mostly a good thing!). Is there anyway to also have a printed version of your Q&A? I'm especially interested in your answer to the watermark on scans/photos. I sure do miss your videos! :( I really enjoy all the work you put into your blog!

Kristina says: Unfortunately, I have no plans to type up my answers. I filmed them because it was much faster for me. You might try disabling the blocking software long enough to watch the videos. Sorry, I can't help more. :)

Thanks Kristina for answering those great questions. I went to splitcoast stampers and found this link for watermark signature:

Hi,

I noticed your video got removed. Will you reload it again? Great questions I would like to know your advice on them.

Thanks,
Des

Stephanie:

I have the Perfect Layers tool and I LOVE to use it for scrapbooking. I did buy mine off of QVC like you mentioned. I just have a problem with the knife chewing into the side of the ruler. Anyone else? Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but now my lines get a tiny bit off and since I'm a little OCD I have to fix it.

Ok, so I watch MACM every week and you are so adorable, everything you do is so articulate and I love to watch the creative process. I've been scrapbooking for several years now, but never really got into stamping. The more I watch you, the more I say to myself, "That's really cool, I should get into stamps to add to my pages, and maybe even start making cards..." So my question is, where would to tell someone to start? Are there any stamps that you would suggest to someone who is just getting into it, and what about stamp pads? I am really just lost in ALL of the stuff!
