Quick Update

Hi all! Just a quick update for ya. :)

I'm in the middle of packing up my office at home because my mom is moving to Arizona and she's taking the office furniture with her. She has an awesome new job and is moving away real quick! Anyway, my computer will be packed away for a bit until I can get my desk out of storage.

What does this mean for you?

It means that I will not be posting this week's Color Inspiration Challenge Round-Up until tomorrow night. So even though the deadline for submissions is tonight, I won't post my top ten or randomly selected until Friday night.

Sorry for the delay and we'll get back on track ASAP. :) Thanks!

Wow that is awesome for your mom. Best of luck to her. So does this mean that you are now living all on your own?
Hope everything goes smooth.

Congratulations to your mom on the new job! It is so stressful packing and moving and unpacking, so I hope that goes okay for her (and you, too...). Hope you all get a chance to rest amidst all this excitement and change.

Hi Kristina,
I just made this gift set for the secretaries at the school where I teach. They were inspired by some designer paper I had in my stash. I LOVE the colors! Suddenly, I realized they match your Color Inspiration #4 perfectly. Too late to play, but I thought I'd share anyway. Here's the link: http://stampinintherain.blogspot.com/2008/04/whats-in-bag.html
Have a great week!

Hi Kristina.
So I live in AZ. Where is your Mom moving to? Are you getting your own place?
Inquiring minds...
Good luck to your Mom!

I LOVE Arizona! Where is Arizona is she moving? I was in Mesa last year for a few months and it was wonderful; your Mom should love it, too. It is a GREAT place for 'seniors', which I happen to be. Plus, I love the heat and Arizona sure has it. Hope we don't have to go without you for too long; good luck to you, too, as it's a big change on your end as well as your mom's.

I live in beautiful Tucson, AZ. Tell you mom to unpack her heavy coat. The winters are mild. We have 2 seasons. Hot and hotter. Hope she loves it. The sunsets are something.

Hi Kristina!
I am so glad I read the comments - so many of these questions about you have been wandering around my mind since I heard your mom was moving. Sounds like everyone just wants everything to be the best for you. So funny to be following someone's life - I think of you as a friend - and yet I don't know you at all. I drop in you site at least a couple of times a day. I wish you and your mom the best.

I live in Mesa, AZ. Where is your mom moving to? As Janine said, unpack the coat, she won't need it here. Maybe in Northern AZ, they do actually get snow up there. I've lived here all my life (minus 1 year in UT) & though I can't say I love the heat (like some crazy people here), I can say that I love AZ! Good luck to your mom!

HA! My mom was a sewing goddess too!

I remember stepping on needles - little bits of thread all over.

She got me into stamping. DH will never forgive her....

She will love Az!!!
