I am facinated that you use dimensionals on all your cards- so I thought I would try to use some more. It adds great dimension- but the little backings end up all over my house! It only makes me smile that they can travel so far! Thanks for the inspiration.

Another great card! Sometime, could you show us what you do with the insides of your cards? Any great ideas?

Kristina says: Actually, I don't do anything to the inside usually. However, with dark card bases (like this one) usually I'll put a piece of white card stock inside. :)
February 25, 2008 @ 11:39 AM

SO cute!!! Are you going to have something white on the inside for people to write on? Or use a white pen? I love cards made on a darker background, but I hate that what you write is hard to read...

Kristina says: Yes, I did put a white circle on the inside. :)

Such a perfect time to see such a cute card. I'm making 2 dozen cupcakes tomorrow for our women's group on Thursday....yum.

LOVE the card...like usual. :)

HEY ---- you got your hair done, didn't you ?!?!?!?! It looks great !

BTW do you have any great cupcake recipes you'd like to share from the classes you took ?

Glad to hear you had a great trip and that you are feeling better.

Kristina says: Thanks! Actually, we didn't go over any recipes in the class I took (well, not any beyond just a basic buttercream icing recipe). But I do love the Magnolia Vanilla Cupcakes. Just search on my blog (search field is at the top of the middle column) for "Magnolia cupcake" and you'll find the entry where I talk about that recipe.

Hey Kristina ~
I know I have told you before but I sooo love your MACMs!!! They are all so awesome. I love the music you pick and how you speed it up and then add words in between - you're the best! I have given your site out to so many. Why, just this passed weekend my cousin in SC who is starting to stamp asked me if I had a template for tying a ribbon - I said I have something better and sent her your link to the ribbon tying and told her about all the other videos. She's loving it now, too. Keep those great videos and beautiful cards coming. Thank you!

Great card. You do great work. Do you make your own envelopes? Any ideas for weddign invitation? Thanks for sharing your art.

Kristina says: No, generally I don't make envelopes. Usually when I make a card for someone that I have to send through the mail, I make sure to design a standard sized card. As for wedding invitations, I haven't done any. Sorry. :)

Another kewl card Kristina! YOu have no idea how much I look forward to MACM. So much fun!

A couple of video Qs: How do you tape your card videos? Do you use a video camera on a tripod pointing to your project, or do you use your mac book? I have a macbook and would like to try and create my own video someday. It looks like techie fun.

Thanks!
