Fire fire!

We had a fire drill yesterday at work. On one of the coldest days we've had in a while. At least it felt like the coldest day while we were outside waiting for the word to go back inside the building.
"Huddle for warmth! Take turns on the outside like penguins!"

Annie is our safety person in our area so she got to wear her stylish bright orange vest. I particularly like the fact that she's wearing the cutest coat ever with black heels and then... an orange vest! Ha ha! Annie, we love you, you know that, right?
Last I heard it was only a drill. There was no smoke as far as I know. On a positive note, no one tried to take the elevator. ;)

At least you were allowed to get your coats. Where I work, my office is about 10 steps from the door. I tell the guys in the office that I shouldn't have to leave unless I smell smoke...unless it is a really nice day outside, then I don't mind standing outside.
Yes, yesterday was the COLDEST day EVER!!! Not the best weather for a fire drill.
You are so funny. First, who takes pictures during a fire drill, oh that's right...YOU do! Secondly, the comment about the penguins.. too too funny. You're sense of humor is JUST like my husband's.
Have a warmer day.
I wanted to take a moment and tell you that I have been reading your blog for the past month. I found you on Gingerwood and love your Make a card Monday videos. I love your style and enjoy your blog very much. I just read your favorite tools blog and you are right on. I am a hobby demo, altered artist, and do scrapbooks for people. Thank you for sharing your talent.
lol great photo's :]
Well, I am not sure who declared it Seattle Fire Drill Day, but we also had a friggin fire drill on the coldest day (Wednesday)....We all got to stand in the street and block traffic. Luckily one of us had enough money to go an drink caramel apple ciders and lemon cake at Starbucks for the next hour or two...we actually had two fire trucks come to the building...s.l.o.w.l.y.....very slowly. I'm glad there wasn't a fire - they would have been too late. Oh, the fire department is about 1.5 blocks away from the Seattle Times....so how's that for service??
Well, if that Annie isn't the cutest safety coordinator I've ever seen! Kristina I love seeing little glimpses into Annie's life here on your blog. Her awesome blog needs some pictures. I want to see proof of her 365 endeavor. In the meantime, YOUR blog is amazing, as usual. I really look forward to seeing what you'll come up with next!
Love, Emily
I am a beginner to blogging and still learning. We are in the middle of a north easter. When I figure out how to send a pic, I will get one of all our snow to you. I love all your ideas for cards and the music with it. Now I want to have a Stampin' up show. I want to earn the tool you use to line up a stamp. That is really better than the one I have.
