Make a Card Monday - December 10, 2007

I got to make a cake for my grandma's birthday. I make a White Lemon Sour Cream Cake with Lemon Curd Filling and Buttercream Icing. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try any of it because I was taking photos for my good friend from work, Wendi. Her family is adorable! Maybe I'll share some photos here, but I want to ask her permission first (they're her kids, after all).
Anyhow, here's another installment of Make a Card Monday! Hope you all like it! Actual time to make the card: 43 minutes. Yep, a long one this week! It was all the chipboard letters. :)
Watch in high quality here (click on "watch in high quality" below the video).

Your videos are genius! I love watching each and every one where you create a card or teach us to do techniques! You make learning so easy! I love the card you created in this one, and how you kept changing your mind as it was being created! I never would have thought using a stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp dots would have made a difference, but wow!! it sure did!! Thanks for sharing your talents with us here! What you do is just awesome!
Weee, it's up! I've been looking forward to this since fiday, seriously, that's how much I love your videos and the little tips you add are a cool bonus :)
I like your glittered projects, and thanks to you a gluepad and glitter it's already on my wishlist! :D (I don't have a heat gun, so I don't think the Heat & Stick powder would work for me).
Kristina, LOVE this video! How fun, and that card couldn't be cuter!! Can't wait to glitter some chipboard!! :)
Happy Monday!
So I discovered your site last week and have been hooked ever since - I woke up this morning thinking, "I can't wait to see her new video!!" Thanks so much for the work you put into all of this, and for sharing your talent and techniques - all great!!
Kristina! You are a genius! I was just fooling with trying to tie ribbon and think of a way to cut through the cardstock...love your trick of marking it with pencil and then cutting with scissors! Love your letter placement, too. Are you sure you can't make one of these EVERY DAY? Pretty please? With sugar on top????
Hi - just wanted to send a quick comment.....I LOVE YOUR BLOG! Thanks for taking so much time on the wonderful Monday videos! Merry Christmas!
Heather B.

Awesome Kristina!!!!! I love the video and the way you show it.
Love your BLOG!!!!

I LOVE your video! I love how you showed us the process. It seems like it takes me three times as long to decide how I'm going to make my card than it does to actually stamp it and assemble it! Thanks for the inspiration!
LOVE IT! So cute. And, I think I'm inspired to go try the glitered chipboard letters! Love you!
OH, and tell me ... what was that dream of yours???? Call me during nap time if you can (around 1 my time).
So that second song you used- Santa Claus is coming to town- Mike and I did a swing dance to that song for a ward Christmas party. I can't listen to it without thinking "turn here, jump here, lift here."
Love the card.
OH you are so making me love MONDAYS.. you are wonderful in doing this for us! You make me want to actually brave the world of cards! I am about go try that lil ribbon trick I love it!
Have a wonderful Monday! :)
Another super video and WoW -- what a cool card. Love the glitter. I have never used the heat and stick powder -- -looks like it works pretty slick!
I SO appreciate the time you take to make these videos. I'm an SU demo and love learning new techniques. What is funny, it that I thought I knew how to do most everything, but every time I watch your Make a Card Monday, I see something I've never thought of doing such as the way you attach ribbons (among many others)! The only problem I see is that I also see products that I decide I really need. You should get some of these companies to pay you a commission! Also love your selection of tunes.
I really look forward to card monday!!! please dont ever stop!!!
I am liking your card Monday. I look forward to it. You are very inspirational.
Thanks for taking the time to do this for us.

I just LOVE Mondays!!!
Fabulous!!! I would post more, but I have to go find my box of miscellaneous chipboard letters so I can play, lol. Thanks!
Great card. I love the glittered chip board!
Thank you sooooooooo much for your brilliant videos. You rock! I have learned so much from your fabulous blog!
Love the videos...they are such a help for novices like me. The tips are my favorite part...for example, how you use/store your heat and stick/dazzling diamonds as well as using daubers for inking up chipboard. Do you use the same dauber for classic ink as you would use for the same color of craft ink?
That is awesome!! thank you so much for taking the time to create and make the video!! I look forward to them now!!
Kristina... you are one amazing woman! I discovered your blog about just over two weeks ago and since then have been making origami boxes non stop! I had seen instructions for these before, but it never really clicked until I saw your video. And I love your make a card Monday!!! I'm in Brisbane Australia, so it's Tuesday morning for me here... but still... it's the first thing I do when I wake up with a cup of tea!! Thank you so much for sharing... I think it's so cool that I can see your amazing creativity from the other side of the world...please don't stop. Your fan base in Australia will be on the rise, becuase I am telling everyone about your blog! :) The quality of your videos is fantastic and I too am a huge mac fan (so thanks for sharing what an iPhone message sounded like on one of your videos... the iPhone isn't out here yet!). Take care and thank you so much. You are amazing! Mel :)
Love it! I love the trick to do the ribbon!
Thanks!
Love the card and the video. Beautiful color combination! Thanks for sharing!
I love this!!!!! Wow, it's amazing and I'm glad to know that you don't just whip these out in 10 minutes :-) I never use Heat and Stick but you make it look so easy I think I'm gonna give it a try.
LOVE this video! Your are fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Your cards just amaze me. I'm not a big card maker, more of a scrapbooker, but watching you make cards inspires me to try more and incorporate them into my scrapbooking as well. Keep the inspirations coming and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU!

Thanks again...
