Mythbusters (a show on TV) did an episode where they tested the theory that a child could be lifted off the ground with thousands of helium balloons (I can't remember the actual number). They couldn't quite do it. That, unfortunately, ruined the illusion for me. You gotta give them credit though, it was very well done! I imagine that there would be a point at which helium balloons could lift a child...or a car. Just a whole heck of a lot more than that!!


And thank you for your great video tutorials! I managed to follow the instructions for putting those lovely curls in my hair. Everyone commented on how nice it looked!
