Digital scrapbooking

paula.jpg Yay for digital scrapbooking!

Have any of you tried digital scrapbooking, or maybe hybrid (a combination of both digital and traditional paper scrapbooking)? In some instances it reminds me of what I do all day at work since I'm a graphic designer, but then again... I get to create what I want, so that makes it fun!

By no means am I a pure digital scrapbooker now. I just really liked trying it out. It was quick and easy, and then I didn't have to photograph it after I was done. One less step! :)

Anyhow, this layout is all about my boss at work. She really is that funny and it's all the time. Love her to death!

Naps - Created in Adobe CS3 (Illustrator and Photoshop). Digital elements: Bedazzles Neutrals paper by Tracy Robinson; Verde Digital Kit by Anne Langpap (branch), and sadly I don't remember the fonts. I'll have to look at the original file.

I've never tried digital scrapbooking, actually the last pages I scrapbooked were Thanksgiving 2003...you make it look so easy.

Haven't tried it yet -- I am really uneducated about the whole digital scraping thing. I guess I just do not get what you do with it --- do you keep it on your computer -- or how do you print it out if it is 12x12?? Or am I just way off. I won the CM storybook software at a recent open ouse, but have not even installed it yet.

Clarendon and a humanist sans serif? Although it looks kind of like Akendiz Grotesk...Love the blog as usual, you rock and thanks for the iMovie tips. They worked flawlessly.

Ok, now I *REALLY* want to be your best friend. Come on, pretty please??!! *wink* My DH got me Photoshop CS3 and I'm such a tech-tard I haven't the faintest clue how to use it. It's just too much for my tiny, tiny brain. I've done one or two really cool things that completely blew my mind, but the basics, um, not so much. Can't you just come visit me for a week, ok, a weekend, ok, a day . . . and we can play with PS on my new iMac? Pretty please??? You're my hero. I LOVE everything you do.

But wait . . . Paula *Freaking* Hogan is your BOSS!! *THE* Paula Hogan? From you know where that starts with S and ends with Up!?? SHUT UP! *faint*

I'll never comment again. I'm not worthy . . . I'm not worthy. . . I'm not worthy . . .

Very cool page!! I've just recently started playing with digital scrapbooking elements, to make my blog banners. I'm still working on a new one. Very fun.......I still have a ton to learn, but there really is so much you can do with it!!

Love the page! I totally do not understand what digital scrapbooking is and how to do. I would love to see a tutorial!! Since I live in Morocco I do not have access to a craft store, so anything I could do from here would be great!!

That's pretty funny... b/c I don't like naps. Well, naps that are short (most are). I end up waking up feeling worse b/c my body wants to sleep longer! =) heh. I love looking at digi-scrapping but have yet to really try anything...

And I echo your Yaay, too Kristina.

I'm a traditional, hybrid and digital scrapper, having made the gradual evolution.

Now I write about scrapbooking of all kinds but I find myself leaning more and more towards digital. Mostly because it's so much quicker and, once you get the hang of it, so much easier. And I find I can be more adventurous with digital too. Gotta love that Undo button. Plus of course you get to use all your elements over and over again, and change the color of them if you want.

Hope you'll pop over to my blog, Scraps of Mind and checking it out.

Hi! I discovered your blog a few weeks ago and am in love with everything you do!! I love your style and humour. I had to comment on this title as I always say "I don't trust people who don't drink coffee." Thanks for inspiring me!!
