October Stamp Club

102407-club1.jpg

102407-club2.jpg 102407-club3.jpg Hi all! Tomorrow night is my monthly stamp club. The hostess this month (Hi Kelli!) requested the candy bar sliders that we made at a stamp camp last spring. My stamp club girls weren't able to come to the camp, so these sliders are new to them. Also, I don't own any specific Halloween sets, so Holiday Blitz once again saved me. I've used this set more than any other set I own! :)

(You can find instructions for the candy bar sliders here).

We're also making a small 3x3 card. Kelli requested a card that she can attach to wedding gifts, but I made the card a bit more generic so that it can be used on many different things, including wedding gifts.

Here's a tip for workshop projects for all you demonstrators: I originally designed this card to have the heart/circle stamped directly on the white band of card stock. However, it was difiicult to get the stamp perfectly centered, and I knew it would be a struggle and irritation for all my club girls to do the same. So, I decided to pop the image off the band by stamping it separately, punching it out, and then adhering it with a Stampin' Dimensional. All in all, I think I like it a bit better that way anyway. :)

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I'm still catching up on sleep after the trip. 'Night all!

Happy Halloween - All supplies from Stampin' Up! All Holidays and Holiday Blitz stamp sets; Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, and vellum card stock; Creepy Crawly Designer Series Paper; Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive markers; Jet Black StazOn ink; Basic Black grosgrain; 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" circle punches; crimper.

Heart 3x3 - All supplies from Stampin' Up! Holiday Blitz stamp set; Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron, and Whisper White card stock; Old Olive Prints Designer Series Paper; Scallop Circle, 1-1/4" Circle, and Corner Rounder punches.

How adorable are these projects!! Love them both.

For some reason, your blog title had me giggling-when I was in a stamp club, we joked about it like it was Fight Club- the first rule of stamp club, there is no stamp club, etc.
