Holiday Mini Collection!
Many of you know that SU! demonstrators are given the opportunity to buy merchandise from mini catalogs a bit earlier than customers, right? Well, today my Holiday Mini Collection pre-order came! Lots of fun little goodies to tease you all with over the next three weeks until you can order (September 1).
Anyway, this little card took me a long time! Longer than any card has in a while. :) Mostly because I didn't know what I wanted to do at first. I knew I wanted to watercolor the snowmen. It's not too noticeable in the photo, but they are watercolored a slight blue color to show their dimension.
The three windows were punched out by first punching three squares, arranging them on the blue card stock, lightly penciling around them, and using the pencil marks as a guide.
Okay, and who loves the new Prints Designer Series Paper? And in Old Olive? Be still my heart! I can't believe I didn't order this paper a month ago with my initial new catalog order! It's luscious!
And on to the card!

Wow, I love this one! I almost got this set but resisted temptation. I think it's super cute and I love what you did with it.
I've long been a lurker and absolutely adore your stuff so I "bit the bullet" and decided to sign up so that I can finally comment!
Thank you for all of the inspiration!
This is such a sweet card. I ordered this set too and it is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I love how you punched out the snowmen and inserted them under the squares. Very sweet.
I love this card. The dimension created by the cut outs and dimensions really works well. I also have this set on order and can't wait to get it. Have a great day!
So cute,as always! I am sure you will have me making my own preorder before the month is over. TFS!
These cards are adorable --- this is the first time I have left a comment here --- but I have to admit I have been reading your blog for months and I love your clean, simple designs --- they are awesome! Thanks for the tips on tying the ribbon a couple of posts back -- that is tough. I have been cheating and taping the long strip of ribbon to the underside of the cardstock and tying a fake ribbon on top == works ok, but is more steps. Can't wait to see the new Holiday Catalog --- looks neat!
