Hostess Coaching

Hostess Coaching is what SU! encourages all demonstrators to do. Basically, hostess coaching is helping your workshop hostess have the best workshop possible, and also making them feel special and to thank them for helping your business thrive.

I've never been big on hostess coaching, but I'm trying to do better. I have a workshop this afternoon and I've been really trying to help her out as much as possible. I've been in contact with her over the phone as well as going to her home once to talk over the types of projects she wants to do. I really hope this helps her get better sales and in turn helps me out.

In the past, I would give my hostesses all the cards I demonstrate and then a few other small goodies. This time, I decided to make her something special as well. This is a box I folded, decorated, and filled with small cards. I hope she likes it. I've seen instructions for this box in numerous places in the internet. I'll find some directions and post them here.

And this is one of the cards we'll be making as a group:

what what a great gift...I tried the hostess coaching and it didn't work for me...Hope yours is better. In fact my hostess was quite annoyed I was calling and emailing so much and I try to explain to her that I was just trying to coach her a little to make her workshop a success. She wanted to do a scrapbook page for Mother's Day told me 9 people would be attending including her so I made enough for 10 people plus the one I demo with.....3 people showed besides her yes you read right three!!!! Not only did I have leftovers but her party was okay in the money department but I didn't get one booking...her sales were $353...

Hope you have a better workshop it seems like it since she was receptive to you....and she is going to love her gift!!!

Keep us posted.

Love, love, love the box! And, I'm so glad you made it because I needed an idea for something Eliza and I could make for her teachers this year. So, tonight we made five of these little boxes to fill with some sort of a treat. Then, Liza will decorate the top with a little thank you note. And, THANK YOU! I'd been looking for something to make for a while. You're awesome!
