Blacksmith Shop in Williamsburg

williamsburg-blacksmithshop.jpg

I just wanted to share one of my favorite photographs from Williamsburg, Virgina. I was there last fall and it was an incredible experience. This photo was taken in the blacksmith's shop. Colonial Williamsburg is an acutal working town, so the men working in the shop were making things for other citizens of the town.

From a photographer's point of view, there was absolutely gorgeous light filtering into the shop. I couldn't help taking a few photos.

Stephenie:

Kristina, I've been watching your blog for months now and I'm sitting down going back to see your first tutorial (I haven't found yet). I'm so happy to see you loved Williamsburg, VA. I am not from Williamsburg, but Chesapeake, VA, I am always so happy to hear that someone loved or enjoyed it as it truly is a beautiful place and a must see. I grew up as a child 40 mins away and yearly went to Williamsburg or Jamestown to see so much of our country's history. It truly is a must see! =0) Thanks for making me think of home!
Hugs =0)
